The upcoming USA Network drama series “Anna Pigeon” has added three actors in recurring roles.
Variety has learned that Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz (“Special Correspondents,” “Reacher”), Ryan Northcott (“The Beach Boys: An American Family,” “Wynonna Earp”), and Cooper Levy (“Sheriff Country,” “Overcompensating”) have all joined the series, which is based on the Nevada Barr novels featuring the titular character.

All three join series lead Tracy Spiridakos in the drama as well as cast member Ronnie Rowe Jr. Production on the series is currently underway in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The official logline states, “Anna Pigeon (Spiridakos) is a former city slicker who became a park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever. While Anna tries to outrun her demons, her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way.
Rodriguez-Saenz will play Manny López, who is described as “a gentle soul and recovering addict, Manny finds peace in the park as an education park ranger.” Northcott will play Geoff Miller, whose character description reads, “As the Park Supervisor of Glacier National Park and Anna’s boss, Geoff is a pragmatic rule follower who believes that established processes and procedures are the key to keeping his rangers safe.”
Levy will play Jesse Garland, described as “a bartender and environmentalist, is Anna’s on-again-off-again love interest.”
Rodriguez-Saenz is repped by Oscars Abrams Zimel & Associates. Northcott is repped by The Characters Talent Agency. Levy is repped by Play Management and Alchemy Entertainment.
Morwyn Brebner serves as showrunner and executive producer on “Anna Pigeon.” Lea Thompson will direct and executive produce. Additional executive producers include Todd Berger, Brett Burlock, Sonia Hosko, Julie Di Cresce, Peter Emerson, Gordon Gilbertson, Tom Cox, and Jordy Randall. Leslie Cowan will produce. The series is produced by Cineflix Studios, December Films and SEVEN24 Films. Cineflix Rights is the exclusive worldwide distribution partner. In Canada, “Anna Pigeon” is Bell Media’s first co-commission with Versant’s USA Network.
