The Mask star enjoyed a casual stroll through sunny New York City this past weekend. She likely just wanted to keep things lowkey and comfy (as evidenced by her white running sneakers), but she unknowingly might’ve just sparked a new fall trend.
The 52-year-old actress took the classic yet polarizing denim shirt and jeans pairing and made it completely her own by opting for different washes. Up top, Diaz wore a slightly-faded, light-wash denim button-down shirt with two big pockets and undone cuffs. Instead of going the expected coordinated route, she dialed up the contrast with wide-leg, baggy jeans in a deep dark-wash.

As for accents, Diaz reached for a light-brown leather crossbody purse, her wedding ring, and clear-frame eyeglasses with square lenses. She flashed a big smile while holding a black reusable coffee cup and folded linens.
As for beauty, the mom-of-two appeared to go makeup-free, putting her radiant skin on display. She threw her golden locks into an effortless messy bun.
Diaz’s under-the-radar outing comes a few weeks after her glamorous Hamptons launch party, during which she celebrated the collaboration between her wine brand, Avaline, and fashion designer Stella McCartney.

For the occasion, the hostest with the mostest suited up in an oversize double-breasted blazer, which she wore over absolutely nothing, paired with wide-leg trousers.
