Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt are celebrating their eldest daughter’s fifth birthday!
Schwarzenegger, 35, posted a heartfelt tribute to her eldest child, Lyla Maria, on Wednesday, Aug. 6. The author shared a photo of herself carrying her daughter in her arms as she planted a kiss on her cheek.
“Happy 5th birthday to my sweet girl I love you more than words can say 🩷,” she captioned her sweet celebratory post.
Schwarzenegger and Pratt share daughters Lyla, Eloise Christina, 3, and son, Ford Fitzgerald, 8 months. Pratt also shares son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris. His eldest child turns 13 on Sunday, Aug. 17.

Pratt, 46, also commemorated his daughter’s birthday with a collage on his Instagram Stories.
The Parks and Recreation alum added six images of Lyla, three of which included her hugging her younger sister, Eloise. He also added two adorable images of Lyla and himself together, one of which included Lyla sitting on his shoulders, while the other captured the father and daughter holding hands.
He captioned the Instagram Stories: “I can’t believe my baby girl is 5!! Time really does fly. I love you, Lyla!”

Days before Lyla’s birthday, Pratt revealed at the N.Y.C. red carpet premiere of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf on Monday, Aug. 4, that Lyla’s birthday party will be mermaid-themed.
“She’s into mermaids right now,” he began. “She loves to swim. She’s really good at swimming. It’ll be a big party. I think we’re gonna have a petting zoo and real mermaids.”
He noted that he picked up her present in New York. “I also got her sister something, and both of her brothers also will be getting something,” he revealed.
That same day, Pratt appeared on Today and shared how he parents his kids, saying he tries to take a more “sensitive” approach.
“My style is very heavily influenced by how I was raised,” he said. “I was a very sensitive kid, but my dad was very tough and very strict. So I tend to be a little more mindful of the sensitivity in kids. So I’m not as tough and I’m not as strict.”
As for Schwarzenegger, she “is more of the rule enforcer,” he explained. “We have a nice balance there.”
