Julia Roberts’ husband, Danny Moder, offered a rare glimpse at the couple’s 20-year-old son, Phinnaeus.
The cinematographer, 56, posted a slow-motion Instagram video on Monday, August 4, of a shirtless Phinnaeus skateboarding on a ramp. With his red hair on full display, Phinnaeus appeared to be in his element as he showed off his impressive skills.
“Who likes Butter?” Moder captioned the clip.
Roberts and Moder have been married since July 2002 and share twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, 20, and son Henry, 18.

Despite Roberts’ superstardom, the pair have maintained their family’s privacy over the years. However, in May, Moder shared a rare photo of Roberts with their three kids to celebrate Mother’s Day.
“Mothers make the coolest stuff,” he captioned the Instagram post, which showed Roberts smiling as she sat outside with her children. “Love these guys.”
The following month, Roberts posted a throwback photo of Henry to mark his 18th birthday, writing via Instagram, “In the blink of a joyful eye this beacon of a boy is 18 I love you Henry. #goldenboy #goldenbirthday.”
During a December 2023 Today interview, Roberts revealed how she approaches parenting now that her children are older.
“I parent them the same way out of the house that I parented them in the house, which is, you know, ‘Are you getting enough sleep?’ And ‘You sound like you’re sick.’ And ‘Are you drinking tea?’ And ‘Text me when you get home [so] I can see that you’re home safe and sound,’” she explained. “And I have an immense amount of appreciation for both of my older kids because they still allow me to be the same mom to them and it’s not eye-rolling and there’s a huge amount of understanding.”
Despite the family no longer spending all their time in the same place, Roberts shared that they often FaceTime each other, gushing that during their conversations they’re “all so happy to be together in that way that we are still so deeply in love.”
