Today With Jenna & Friends continues to prove itself as one of the wildest spots on morning TV. On Tuesday, actor Taylor Kitsch one-upped the antics of last week’s guest cohost, Tyra Banks, by revealing on the air that he once pooped his pants at an audition.
The Friday Night Lights star appeared on the Jenna Bush Hager-hosted talk show alongside Chris Pratt, Luke Hemsworth, and Tom Hopper to promote their new Prime Video series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, and spilled a similarly dark secret during the interview.
As the conversation turned toward a fun game titled Secrets that saw Hager and guest host Matt Rogers attempting to decipher which of a slew of previously provided secrets belonged to the Terminal List actors before them, Kitsch recounted his jaw-dropping accident.

“I [went to] this coffee truck when we were shooting in L.A. I was in L.A. living out of my car, and I’d get all of these crazy auditions, like, four in a day, and I needed a strong coffee,” the 44-year-old said. “I’m having it, driving to the audition, I’m sitting in the waiting room just like this, and I s— myself. No joke.”
His Terminal List costars reacted with shock, as did Rogers and Bush Hager.
“The bathroom door is right there. I’m like, oh my God,” Kitsch explained to his stunned companions on the set.
The others launched into a wealth of questions, particularly if he booked the job or not.
“I’m going in the audition room, I threw my underwear in the garbage can, came back out, and waited and did not get the job,” he said.
After the stars came down from their amusement, the interview continued, though the conversation eventually shifted back to Kitsch’s past predicament.
“It was a pilot, a TV show of some sorts,” Kitsch elaborated after he was asked what job he auditioned for, indicating that it was definitely not Friday Night Lights, as he would go on to star on the beloved series.
Funnily enough, Kitsch isn’t the only performer to have recently revealed that they’ve had bathroom accidents throughout their careers.
Nobody Wants This star Justine Lupe previously told Entertainment Weekly that she, too, pooped herself — but, she did the deed during production alongside legendary Hollywood actress Kathy Bates on the set of Harry’s Law in 2012.

“I told a story about me s—-ing my pants on set and s—-ing into my dress and then pulling it up onto my body. And that’s when I realized I had pooped in my dress,” Lupe said, clarifying that “it wasn’t in front of Kathy, it was in my trailer.”
