Two people were killed and six were injured at an afterparty for Hard Summer music festival in downtown Los Angeles early Monday morning.

According to the Associated Press, police arrived at the event billed as a Hard Summer afterparty at 11 p.m. on Sunday to shut it down after officers spotted a person possibly armed with a gun enter a building in the area’s warehouse district. The party was located in the 1100 block of the 14th Place.

Following that person’s arrest, officers cleared the area but were called back to the scene after reports of shots fired around 1 a.m. A male victim was found dead on the scene and numerous people had been shot. Seven people in unknown conditions were brought to the hospital, where a female victim later died.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is still ongoing, reports the Los Angeles Times. Representatives for Hard Summer did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment.

The two-day festival, known for blending house and hip-hop music with a robust lineup, took place at Hollywood Park in Inglewood this past weekend, featuring performers including Kaytranada, Dom Dolla, Gesaffelstein, Feid, Busta Rhymes and more. This year’s event was expected to draw more than 85,000 attendees.

There were four official afterparties for the festival, according to the festival’s website, including two that took place in the downtown area. Those parties featured performances from Adam Ten, Annicka, Ben Sterling, Fcukers, DJ Gigola and Oza.

Hard, founded in 2007, staged its first Hard Summer show in July 2008. In 2018, one man died and two women were hospitalized following the conclusion of Hard Summer in Fontana, CA.
