If your sweet tooth could talk!
For the first time ever, Reese’s and Oreo are teaming up—and the result is every bit as creamy as fans have hoped.
Despite belonging to different parent companies, Reese’s (The Hershey Company) and Oreo (Mondelēz International), the two snack powerhouses are combining their signature flavors into a major mouthwatering experience.
First up is the REESE’S OREO® Cup, a fresh twist on the classic Reese’s cup.
Instead of just chocolate, the outer shell blends Oreo’s milk chocolate and white creme. Inside, of course, is the signature Reese’s peanut butter filling swirled with Oreo cookie crumbs. It’s sweet. It’s crunchy. It’s everything!
The Reese’s Oreo Cup will hit stores nationwide in September 2025, but fans can get in on the action early. Presale begins August 18 on the company’s website.
The best part is that unlike many limited-edition releases, this one’s here to stay as a permanent part of the Reese’s lineup.
Then there’s the return of an old fan favorite: the OREO® REESE’S Cookie, which first appeared back in 2014 and has been sorely missed ever since.
The updated version features a peanut butter creme center packed with Oreo cookie crumbs. It’ll be available for a limited time starting September 2025, then officially rejoining the Oreo portfolio as a permanent offering in January 2026. Presale also starts August 18, with early access signups opening July 30.
According to Michelle Deignan, vice president of Oreo U.S., the cookie’s comeback was basically inevitable.
“What we have seen since 2014 is that consumers have been begging us to bring this product back,” she said, adding that TikTokers have been DIY-ing their own Oreo-Reese’s combos for years.
And on the Reese’s side? The collab was inspired by years of social media buzz.
“Essentially, what consumers often start riffing on in social media is ‘What would go great in a Reese’s cup?’ The top brand that they consistently mention time and time again is Oreo,” Dan Mohnshine, Hershey’s VP of U.S. Confection Marketing, added.
Clearly, both brands are hoping to bring a little excitement to the shelves!
