Jamie Lee Curtis Supports Stephen Colbert in ‘Iconic’ Way Amid Show Cancellation originally appeared on Parade.

Jamie Lee Curtis—or should we say Jamie Lee Colbert—may have just gone through another body swap.

In her latest press appearance ahead of her new film Freakier Friday, Curtis transformed into Stephen Colberton set of The Late Show, and fans are still cackling over the “iconic” video of her new look.

In a clip posted to the show’s Instagram page on Tuesday, the Oscar-winning actress could be seen recreating one of the most famous scenes from the 2003 movie—except this time, she appeared to switch bodies with none other than the late-night host himself.

Reenacting one of Lindsay Lohan‘s scenes from the OG film, a disgruntled and unready Curtis runs into her dressing room before coming out just seconds later all dressed up and ready to go—in Colbert’s clothes, no less.

Curtis was dressed in a classic suit like the ones Colbert often wears on his show, while the caption on the Instagram clip referred to her as “Jamie Lee Colbert.”

“Iconic in every aspect of life,” one Instagram user wrote about Curtis in the comments, while another called her “hilarious” for her take on the trend.

Curtis’ playful antics and lighthearted energy on set of The Late Show come in the wake of the news that CBS will be cancelling the long-running program by next year—a decision that the Halloween star clearly isn’t on board with.

The actress spoke out against the network earlier this month, calling it a “bad” situation during a red carpet interview. She went on to defend Colbert, calling the TV personality a “great, great guy.”

“They’re trying to silence people,” she further stated, before predicting, “that won’t work.”

“It won’t work. We will just get louder,” she added with a smile.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will officially come to an end in May 2026.
