After the exciting news that Hollyoaks Later will be returning to help celebrate the series 30th anniversary, three more cast members have been confirmed to be joining the late night soapy spinoff.
Digital Spy reportedKieron Richardson (Ste Hay), Isabelle Smith (Frankie Osborne) and Louis Emerick (Donny Clark) will all be joining Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox) and Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen), as well as newcomer, and former Coronation Street star Tisha Merry as Gemma.

Discussing taking part in the late night edition, Smith told Digital Spy “I’m not involved in the 30th anniversary stunt, although I wish I was because it sounds very fun. But I can say that I’m in the Hollyoaks Later, which I’m very excited for.”
Emerick told the outlet “Laters is coming up and I am involved in that, but I can’t tell you to what extent. Again, very exciting. If you’ve seen Hollyoaks Laters in the past, they’re so good. I’ve watched them myself and there’s no reason to think that this won’t hit those same heights – probably even surpass it, I think! It’s going to be brilliant.” The actor continued, “It’s fantastic that I can swear! It’s going to be dark, it’s going to be edgy, it’s going to be all the things that you expect when Hollyoaks do the Laters and you won’t be disappointed.”
Despite being in the soap for nearly 20 years, this will be Richardson’s first appearance in the late-night spin off. The actor is excited for the opportunity and told the outlet, “The late-night is coming back, which is something that’s iconic. The only thing that we can say for that is that I’m definitely in it!” He then went on to tease some of the potential content in the episode adding, “I’m also getting wet in it! Somebody throws a drink over me – not really! But I’m definitely wet.”
Over the years Hollyoaks has aired various ‘late night’ episodes to amp up the drama and storytelling in a way that the early evening soap is unable to accommodate. The last iteration of Hollyoaks Later aired in 2020, with the culmination of the serial killer Breda storyline.
Hollyoaks will celebrate it’s 30th anniversary on October 23 in the U.K. Episodes air at a one week delay globally on YouTube.
