Titles new and familiar will run, drive, and fly into Netflix this August. From Wednesday Addams returning to Nevermore Academy, to seven “Fast & Furious” films parking their cars at the platform, to documentaries, comedy specials and original films aplenty, it will be a month of thrills, chills, laughs, and intrigue for the streamer.
The month will kick off with the original film “My Oxford Year” and “Perfect Match” Season 3 premiering on the first, coinciding with a slew of licensed properties appearing on the platform from “American Pie” to “Jurassic Park” to “Despicable Me” to “Rush Hour” and more. Seven of the ten “Fast & Furious” movies— including “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”— will then cruise in from Universal on Aug. 16.
