Food Network chef Brooke Williamson,46, enjoyed a night out on the town with her 17-year-old son, Hudson Roberts, on July 26, 2025, and fans can’t believe how grown up he is!
The BBQ Brawl judge, who is dating fellow star Bobby Flay, enjoyed “the most unforgettable evening” at Grant Achatz’s Alinea popup at the Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, with her mini-me. She shared photos and videos of the pair sampling unique dishes from the modernist cuisine powerhouse, including a course that was served in a bubble!
Williamson looked gorgeous for the special occasion in a red dress, while her son rocked a sharp all-black suit. While many fans commented on how lovely the chef looked, many were more stunned by her not-so-little one.

“Hudson is so grown up now! What a super fun & amazing evening,” said one fan. Another agreed, writing, “As a foodie and a mom, I cannot imagine anything more joyful than sharing a meal like this with my kids. I hope you and Hudson had the most magical evening! Also, he’s like a grown-a– man now… I can’t even!” A third added, “He looks so much like you, Brooke.” A Food Network producer and podcast host said, “Cannot get over Hudson!”

Williamson welcomed her son with ex-husband and business partner Nick Roberts on Feb. 16, 2008. Though the couple split in 2024, they still work hard to coparent Hudson, who is the apple of the Top Chef winner’s eye.
“Happy 16th birthday to the most remarkable young man that ever lived,” she wrote in a sweet birthday message for her son in February 2024. “You are the greatest joy of my entire life. May this year be your very best yet.”

The two seem to share a love of food, and it’s far from the first time they stepped out together to enjoy a dining experience. In May 2024, the Playa Provisions founder snapped a photo at Dear Jane’s in Marina Del Rey, and while many noted the resemblance between them, Williamson joked her son is more of a “maxi me” than a mini me, considering he towers over her at 17 years old.
Fans met Hudson when his mom was competing on Top Chef in 2014, and again when she returned in 2017. At the time, Williamson admitted he was something of a picky eater, despite growing up in her restaurants.
“It hasn’t changed his personality of being a very picky child,” she once told Tasting Table, though “there are probably foods that he is very familiar with and accepting of that others kids maybe aren’t. One of his favorites, for example, included crab legs at his mom’s restaurant. Though he once scoffed at being served snapper in Japan, it looks like his tastes have elevated over the past decade.
