Fans Are ‘Living’ for Eggo’s Strange New Collab to Promote Final Season of Hit Netflix Show originally appeared on Parade.
Things are starting to feel really strange around here, and we’re not talking just about the weather. There’s something brewing, and it almost feels like we’ve been teleported back in time to the neon-soaked, athleisure-wearing 80s. Everything feels upside down, and for some reason, there’s an eerie feeling of mystery in the air. It could be that we’re actually living in an alternate reality that feels both post-apocalyptic and electrifying, or it could just be Friday.

Either way, something is definitely amiss, and we’re going to get to the bottom of it. Luckily, we aren’t the only ones in search of Stranger Things—even Eggo is getting in on the action. Eleven’s favorite breakfast staple just dropped yet another iconic collab to promote the last and final season of Stranger Things coming to Netflix this November. While it hopefully won’t be the last Stranger Things x Eggo mashup, this exciting limited-edition find might just be one of their best yet.

According to @markie_devo, retro-themed boxes of ruby red Strawberry Waffles will be invading a freezer near you soon, and fans of the hit Netflix show are “living” for this epic collab. Each box will contain 10 naturally colored and flavored frozen waffles in a bright red hue, said to mimic the appearance of the rifts of the Upside Down. While we don’t have a release date for the rollout just yet, we’re sure these will start mysteriously showing up on shelves at major retailers soon enough.

Judging by the comments, fans can’t wait to get their hands on a box. “Let’s goooo!!!” said one excited shopper. “Yummy! Can’t wait to try them! 😍” commented someone else. A few others even suggested adding these to their Stranger Things night, and we couldn’t agree more. The only improvement, according to another fan, would’ve been “to squeeze 11 in the box instead of 10.” Eleven would be proud.
