Charlize Theron loves a naked dressing moment on the red carpet, usually using beading, a combination of different textures, and embroidered accents to add dimension to each diaphanous creation. The Fast X actress’s recent June 25 appearance at the LA premiere of The Old Guard 2 was a prime example, marrying neck-to-toe sheer fishnet fabric with a satin blazer with padded shoulders. However, Theron took a sartorial 180 for her latest nearly-naked dressing experiment, freeing the nipple in a simple flowy dress.
In a cover photoshoot for Perfect magazine shared on Wednesday, July 23, Theron tapped into her acting prowess to transform into a parade of different characters. The Mad Max star could be seen wearing a sheer white boho-style dress that looked out of the ‘70s, thanks to its bell sleeves and a round neckline that was trimmed with white lace. Featuring a flowing, oversized silhouette, Theron’s dress showed off her bare body underneath as she raised her arms and looked off into the distance. In contrast to her sleek ballerina buns she’s been favoring in recent months, Theron wore her platinum blonde hair in a retro-inspired lob that curled in towards her face. Ethereal glam and several long gold necklaces finished off her look.

Theron stripped down for several other videos and photos in the shoot, looking unrecognizable as she ditched her blonde locks for a dark brown pixie cut. In one vintage-style clip, the star—who appeared in a red bra and matching panties—could be seen sensually writhing on the floor and touching her bra strap. Meanwhile, another image showed her going more androgynous, pairing her tousled brown pixie cut with a red bralet, high-waisted black underwear, and a red triangle bra.
