Have you tried the sparkling prebiotic drink Poppi since its launch in 2020? If so, you might be eligible to be part of $8.9 million class action lawsuit.
Poppi’s former owner, VNGR Beverage, LLC agreed to settle claims that the beverages were improperly marketed and labeled their products as “gut healthy,” and consumers made purchases based on that claim, although it was not backed by scientific evidence. According to court records obtained by USA TODAY, the company did not admit to any wrongdoing
Customers who purchased any flavor or package size of Poppi drinks between January 23, 2020, and July 18, 2025, are eligible for a portion of the class action settlement payment following the agreement reached with Poppi.
Here is what you need to know.
Who is eligible for the settlement?
According to the claims website, eligible consumers can receive cash back depending on the amount of Poppi products they bought. People with proof of purchase can receive the following amounts:
-
Up to $0.75 per single can

-

-
$9 per 12- or 15-pack
Without proof of purchase, a $16 reimbursement cap applies. According to the site, claims must be submitted online or by mail by September 16, 2025.
