Vergara has become a bathing suit It girl, frequently sharing snaps of herself by the water soaking up the sun.
Sofía Vergara has become one of the go-to sources of swimwear inspo in recent years. The Modern Family actress frequently takes to social media to share snaps of herself lounging by the pool—and her swimwear collection is nothing short of perfection.
While many celebs find themselves gravitating towards teeny tiny bikinis, Vergara knows the power of a strong one-piece. Just take her latest Instagram Story, which features a selfie of Vergara in a deep chocolate brown thong one-piece. She paired the simple swimsuit with a pair of striking slim sunglasses with gold hardware, long straight hair, and a rosy lip.

The perfect one-piece
Vergara’s latest swimsuit snap comes just one day after she shared a video of herself on Instagram wearing the bottom half of a teeny tiny white bikini as she soaked up on the sun on a boat. “Happy internacional bikini day from Ibiza😂😂😂,” she wrote in the caption.

Vergara loves a good swimsuit so much, she even released her own line of them in collaboration with Walmart last year. Her goal? To make everyone feel comfortable. “Swimsuits are always difficult for women—no matter what age, what size, what race,” Vergara said to E! News last year. “We all have our insecurities. But once you get older, it’s even more because we don’t look the same.”
She went on, “You have to find options that do what you want them to do. You can’t wear the same things you wore in your 20s or 30s. In your 40s and 50s, things start changing, so it’s good that there are things, like our Walmart [collection], that hold you and shape you, and enhances what you have.”
