Cardi B is serving up a side of drama for Paris Haute Couture Week!
The rapper attended the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/2026 fashion show at Petit Palais in Paris on Monday, July 7, and was ready to cause a fashionable scene.
The 32-year-old made her grand entrance at the show wearing a fitted black column gown with an exaggerated shoulder piece that had an ivory beaded fringe hovering by her head. The beaded fringe cascaded down to the “WAP” rapper’s knees and nearly hid the black opera gloves she used to complete her outfit.

The Whipshots co-founder kept her accessories for the haute couture show minimal, only adding two-tier pearl teardrop earrings and a diamond-encrusted microdermal stud under her left eye. Her most major accessory, however, was an actual bird.
While ascending the steps of the Petit Palais, Cardi held the bird on her right arm and posed for pictures with it. Despite the bird occasionally flapping its wings and ruffling its feathers, Cardi kept her composure and smiled with every flash of the camera.

After making her way into the venue, Cardi was asked if she was scared to make her entrance with the bird. “No, I’m not scared of the bird. That’s my friend,” she told WWD. “I control him. We’re best friends.”

Cardi’s appreciation of the dark feathered birds comes as no surprise — ravens and crows have featured prominently in the artist’s rollout for her upcoming sophomore album, Am I the Drama?
The album’s cover saw the rapper having yet another major fashion moment. She wore an ornate red Han Kjøbenhavn bodysuit with red fishnet tights and bold Vivienne Westwood heels. The dramatic look also featured accessories by Swarovski. Elsewhere in the album art, Cardi was surrounded by a fleet of black birds flying in a cloudy blue sky.

The birds were most recently featured in an album teaser video posted to Cardi’s Instagram on June 30, in which she looked concerningly out of a bathroom window and saw a fleet of them threatening to break through the glass. She was later chased in the promo by the birds and sought refuge in a black vintage car.
Am I the Drama? is set to release on Sept. 19.
