After CBS canceled The Late Show with StephenColbert,the talk show host’s fans are rallying around him. Stephen Colbert isn’t taking the news sitting down, which should surprise no one.

On Monday night during his monologue, Colbert let his audience know that the “gloves are off” for the next ten months. Colbert hit back at the network, declaring, “They made one mistake. They left me alive.”

Several famous faces joined Colbert in the audience to not only mock CBS and spoof the Coldplay cheating couple while making fun of President Donald Trump and Paramount+. The Late Show posted the video of the monologue, with fans flooding the comments with support for Colbert.

“I love how Stephen is basically like ‘What are you gonna do? Cancel me some more?'” wrote one fan. A different fan declared, “Colbert’s got 10 months left and nothing to lose, very excited to see what he does.”

Another fan shared, “Bring the fire Colbert!!! Run for senate against Lindsey Graham!”

A fan stated, “Stephen Colbert will never be silenced!!”

“The next 10 months of Stephen Colbert are gonna be lit 🔥. 😂😅🤣 The man has absolutely zero f*€ks to give from now on and I love it. 😂😅🤣,” spilled a fan.

One fan expressed, “Stephen is going to go scorched earth AND I AM HERE FOR IT.” There was a different fan who wrote, “COLBERT UNLEASHED.  I AM HERE FOR IT! 🍿”

Another fan wondered if The Late Show will make it all the way to next May. “Gloves are definitely off so he can say what he wants now – I just wonder how long it will last before Paramount just pulls the plug early. The next few months will be fun while it lasts,” said a fan.

More comments showing support for Colbert included, “Keep it up Stephen! Keep hitting hard!” “Gloves off for the next 10 months!” and “The next 10 months are going to be quite entertaining, you might say.”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights on CBS.
