Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves gave a masterclass in subtly coordinated couple’s dressing on July 12 when they nailed all aspects of the (unofficial) Wimbledon dress code.
He wore a blue suit with a green tie, while she wore a white suit with a boho hat and accessories.
The pair have made a number of other stylish appearances over the years.
The yearly Wimbledon Championships offer up some amazing tennis—and also, some amazing chances to do some celebrity couple style spotting. The British tennis championship is known for its distinctive (unofficial) dress code—spectators often rock Wimbledon whites, matching the players on court, or, they opt for bold greens and blues to coordinate with the green grass courts and the (sometimes) bright blue skies at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. This year has seen a number of couples nail the Wimbledon dress code. Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro made their first official appearance as a couple wearing all-white Ralph Lauren ensembles. Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas also rocked Ralph Lauren, with Chopra opting for a white dress and Jonas wearing a colorful suit. Now, another pair are vying for best dressed couple at this year’s championship.
Watching the ladies final on July 12, actor Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves nailed pretty much every aspect of the Wimbledon dress code. Proving that a strong couple outfit doesn’t always have to be completely matchy-matchy, the pair each embraced different sides of Wimbledon chic.

McConaughey went the preppy route, while Alves went boho
McConaughey went for a blue linen suit with a white shirt and a green satin tie. He wore an unexpected pair of shoes with the preppy look, opting for a pair of white sneakers rather than brogues. He finished his look with a stylish pair of gold-rimmed aviators.
As for Alves, she rocked more of a boho-inspired look. She wore an all-white suit, pairing a plunging vest with wide-legged trousers and a matching blazer. She added a brown cowboy hat and some layered gold necklaces and finished off the look with a pair of sunglasses and sandals.

McConaughey and Alves, who began dating in 2006 and tied the knot in 2012, are known for their immaculate couples style. Last month, the chic duo wore almost identical white outfits to Paris Fashion Week. In April, the pair attended a red carpet event with their three children—McConaughey wore a white suit, while Alves rocked a black and white floral gown. Then there was their iconic showing at the 2024 Oscars, where McConaughey wore a brown blazer and black trousers next to Alves’ dramatic thigh-high slit black gown.
