The rock world has united today to pay tribute to the mountain of a man we lost, who forever changed music with his daring experimentation and unforgettable stage presence.
One of the icons of classic rock to come out and speak on the passing of such a legend is Queen guitarist Sir Brian May, who took to his Instagram account to share his last moments with Osbourne and speak on the incredible legacy he has left behind.

“His last appearance at Villa Park was a glorious way to say goodbye – the love in that place for him was gigantic. I’m grateful I was able to have a few quiet words with him after the show. And happy to know he passed peacefully with his loving family close by,” May wrote.
Fans were quick to share their thoughts and feelings on the passing of metal’s founding father, all joining in the mourning together.
