And in Gabbriette’s world, the little black dress has proven to be a staple of her go-to wardrobe formula. Her style landing somewhere deliciously in between gothic and sultry, the model and downtown It-girl proved yet again why the LBD is forever a classic.
Photographed outside of a recent private screening of I Know What You Did Last Summer, which she hosted for friends and family in Los Angeles, Gabbriette wore an outfit right in her comfort zone.
For the intimate gathering, Gabbriette wore a strapless black minidress with a keyhole cutout at the bust and a silver ring detail that gave the look a flash of punk edge.
The hemline? Barely there and just enough to cover, but short enough to nod to her party-girl lifestyle. She paired the piece with glossy peep-toe heels in patent leather, further leaning into the dark-toned monochrome look.
True to her minimalist approach to accessorizing, she wore only a few slim silver bangles on each wrist, allowing the dress to speak for itself. Also spotted at the screening were her fiancé Matty Healy, as well as her friends Anastasia Karanikolaou and Devon Lee Carlson.
Gabbriette and Healy have been engaged since June 2024, when the model revealed the news with a now-viral Instagram Story showing off her ring: a black gemstone encircled by pavé diamonds. “MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT,” she captioned the post at the time.
For the Los Angeles premiere of the film, Gabriette followed suit to her signature style in a ’90s-style black lace-up corset top with matching straight-leg slacks and strappy sandals.
