Legendary Musician, 75, Grosses $700 Million in Most Successful Tour Ever originally appeared on Parade.
Bruce Springsteen just broke one of his own records while on the road with the E Street Band.
The 75-year-old legendary musician’s latest tour made close to $730 million over the course of its 129 show run, which took place between 2023 and 2025. With the tour’s wrap this year, it officially became the most successful run of the rocker’s career, selling 4.9 million tickets across its dates.
According to Billboard, the recent tour doubled the $347 million that Springsteen earned on his previous top-grossing tour, the Wrecking Ball Tour, which took place in 2012 and 2013.

While tickets to the recent run did cost more than previous Springsteen concerts, Billboard noted that prices only increased by about 29%, which is “well below the typical uptick for other arena and stadium acts, legacy or contemporary.”
Springsteen and the E Street Band’s 2023-2025 tour, which ended in Italy earlier this month, also became one of the top 10 highest-grossing tours of all time. Only a few other artists have reached that milestone, including Taylor Swift, U2, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.
Additionally, Springsteen was recognized for grossing over $2.3 billion in sales throughout his entire touring career, including concerts performed as a solo act and with the E Street Band.
While the milestone is another major accomplishment for Springsteen, the musician recently admitted that his three children – Evan, 34, Jessica, 33, and Samuel, 31 – are unfazed by his fame. In fact, he says that his music career has really never been a big part of their lives.
“They ignore it,” he told The Times. “They might come to a show, bring their friends, but it’s never been a central part of their lives.”
