NEED TO KNOW

  • A mom of five is regretting traveling to Turkey to get a boob job after an infection caused her to return to the country and spend more time and money there than she ever planned to

  • Chloe Roiser had the procedure done in April and returned to Turkey weeks later, where she has remained ever since

  • “I never should have touched my body at all,” she said

A woman is regretting her decision to travel afar to get a boob job.

Chloe Roiser traveled to Turkey in April to have the procedure done at a hospital in Antalya, SWNS reported.

After the surgery, which cost her over $4,700, was done, Roiser, 31, stayed overnight, and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary.

“It seemed to be okay. You don’t know what to expect if you haven’t had that done before. I was on strong painkillers. I was really, really sore,” the mother of five said. ”I had drains on my boobs I had to empty myself every day after surgery, and I couldn’t really see anything, there were bandages over it all.”

During a post-op appointment days later, Roiser said all continued to appear status quo — “It all seemed fine and they redressed it for me,” she explained — and at a later, final check-in, she said doctors gave her the go-ahead to return to her home in England.

While home, Roiser, a former healthcare professional, said she knew what to do to take care of herself as she continued to heal.

“I followed all the aftercare. I have a nursing degree, I’m not silly, I know what I’m doing,” she said. “They gave me all the bits and pieces I needed to redress and I did all the redressing.”

One day, though, the woman said she noticed that the stitches on her one boob “looked like something was going on.”

“The tape around it was slightly raised, but you couldn’t take it off, so I couldn’t see anything. And I had no feeling in my nipples, so I couldn’t feel pain or anything,” she further explained.

At the end of May, when she could remove her bandages, Roiser said, “The edge of my nipples were red and raised.”

Within a week, and despite messages to her doctors and continuing to put on cream, Roiser said her breast was visibly infected, and she decided to recontact medical professionals for assistance. It was then when she “immediately” booked a flight back to Turkey.

“When the doctors saw me, they had to give me six shots of antibiotics and four local anesthetics directly into my breasts,” she said. “It was a really bad infection, they had to scalpel all the infection out. They said I’d lost that part of my nipple, and they confirmed it was necrosis at that point.”

Still, Roiser claimed that doctors “weren’t really forthcoming with any details” and eventually “told me I needed to stay here longer.”

Now, Roiser said she is spending more time — and money — in Turkey than she ever planned to.

Post-surgery, the woman added she has regrets about getting her boobs done, stating, “I feel bad I’ve actually come out here and done it.”

“People will tell me I shouldn’t have done it. It’s partly my own fault,” she continued. “I’m feeling drained from it all, mentally and financially. I’ve got such bad anxiety at the moment.”

“I’m a mother, it was meant to be a confidence boost,” Rosier also said. “I never should have touched my body at all. We’re never happy with our bodies. Now, I could potentially lose my entire breast.”

Moving forward, Roiser also said she doesn’t know what will happen to her medically. “They haven’t told me anything about when I see the doctor next. I’m totally in the dark,” she claimed.
