Sports cars have always been about speed, style and the thrill of the open road. For many Americans, owning a sports car is a dream, but the price tag often keeps that dream out of reach. The summer of 2025 is shaping up to be a unique opportunity for buyers, with several high-profile models set to see significant price drops.

According to Lauren Fix, automotive expert at Car Coach Reports, these price reductions are driven by a combination of discontinued models, redesigns and shifting market demand. If you have been waiting for the right time to buy, this summer could be the moment to make your move.

Here are six sports cars that will likely see massive price drops in the coming months, based on current trends and industry analysis.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet officially discontinued the Camaro in early 2024, and dealers are now eager to clear out remaining inventory. According to Car and Driver, the Camaro’s starting MSRP was just under $33,000, but discounts are expected to push prices even lower as summer progresses.

Fix explained that since an all-electric Camaro is coming in 2026, the last gas-powered models are not considered future collectibles. Instead, they are likely to be discounted heavily as dealers make room for new vehicles.

2024 Ferrari Roma

Ferrari discontinued the Roma after the 2024 model year. CarGurus reports that current listings show used Romas selling for as low as $289,900, and prices are expected to drop further as its successor arrives. Fix pointed out that the Roma never achieved the iconic status of other Ferrari models, making it less attractive to collectors.

With a newer, updated version on the horizon, dealers are motivated to discount the outgoing Roma to make room for new inventory. This summer, shoppers could see significant savings on remaining Roma models.

2023 Jaguar F-Type

Jaguar has been shifting its focus toward electric vehicles, discontinuing several internal combustion models in 2024 to pave the way for a new era of electrification. The F-Type, a beloved luxury sports car, saw its final traditional versions produced in 2023, with special editions in 2024 likely to hold value. Fix pointed out that the 2023 F-Type is not expected to become a collector’s item, so dealers will be motivated to offer discounts to clear out remaining stock.

With prices for new F-Types starting around $157,080, buyers may see substantial savings as Jaguar transitions to electric-only offerings.

2024 Nissan Z

The Nissan Z has always been a favorite among performance enthusiasts, offering a blend of style and power at a relatively accessible price point. In 2024, the Z faced stiff competition from rivals like the Toyota Supra and a wave of new electric sports cars. According to CarEdge, dealers may need to clear out older inventory to make room for 2026 models, especially if sales soften in the summer.

According to Fix, dealers are now offering incentives of up to $4,000 off the 2024 Nissan Z, with prices dipping near the $40,000 mark. As dealers prepare for the incoming 2026 models and respond to tariff-related pressures, buyers can expect even deeper discounts this summer.

2025 Maserati Grancabrio

Maserati has faced challenges with declining sales and production issues in 2024, prompting a major strategic shift for 2025. The Grancabrio, Maserati’s flagship convertible, is now being offered at a much lower price, with reductions of up to 11% compared to previous years. Car and Driver reports the 2025 GranCabrio currently starts at $168,395.

Fix noted that Maserati’s price reductions are a direct response to excess inventory and weak demand. U.S. buyers should watch for similar discounts as Maserati attempts to regain market share and move unsold vehicles.

2024 Toyota Supra

The Toyota Supra has enjoyed a strong following since its return, but the sports car market is evolving rapidly. As new electric sports vehicles reach the market and the Supra faces more competition, dealers may offer tempting prices on remaining 2024 versions.

Fix stated Toyota may lower the price of outgoing Supra vehicles to clear dealer lots before refreshing or electrifying them. According to CarEdge, the used car market is cooling, and dealers are more willing to negotiate on price, especially for outgoing models.

Buyers looking for a legendary nameplate at a reduced price should keep an eye on Supra deals this summer as Toyota prepares to update the model or introduce new variants.
