Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B, stunned fans by making a surprise appearance at a dance class.
People magazine reported that Mel B uploaded a June 26 Instagram video that showed her making an unexpected visit to a dance class, wherein the participants were practicing a number while the Spice Girl’s song, “Stop” played in the background.
In the clip, Mel B, dressed in a matching blue sweat set, made her presence known by coming to the front of the studio and announcing, “Oh, I like this song! Here we go!” After jumping and dancing for a bit, she introduced herself to the shocked members of the dance class.
After shaking hands, Mel B bid goodbye to the class, by saying, “Alright, that’s it, get back to f—–g work!”
“Walking past this dance group rehearsing to @spicegirls !!! I had to join them!!!! 💙💙💙,” read the caption of her Instagram post.
Several fans flocked to the post’s comments section to share they appreciated Mel B’s surprise visit.
“Such a beautiful soul 😍,” wrote a commenter.
“Thats so lovely. Good on you. GIRL POWER,” added another.
“Thank you for being so wonderful to your fans! I met you a few years back when you came to Utah and you made me feel like you were as excited to meet me as I was to meet you. Mel B, who joined Spice Girls in 1994, recently commented on whether or not fans can expect a reunion from the group, which also includes Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Melanie C. During a May 2025 interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 50-year-old said she won’t divulge if she and the other Spice Girls will be reuniting soon.
“I’m always the first person to say, ‘Oh, it’s going to happen. It’s going to happen.’ But just this once, I’m not saying anything,” said Mel B.
