A popular fast food chain that serves chicken is expanding its national footprint, but unlike its rival Chick-fil-A, it’s open on Sundays.
Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s, which has a cult following around the country, is opening new locations in four states in July.
The chain, which specializes in chicken fingers and a beloved dipping sauce, Cane’s sauce, will be opening new locations in California, Florida, Illinois, and Nevada, where fans will be able to get their fill of chicken, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast.
On July 1, a new location in Visalia, Calif. will open its doors, while on July 15, Jacksonville, Fla. will see a new location open along with Normal, Ill. and Las Vegas, Nev.
Poway, Calif. will round out the bunch on July 22 with the last new Raising Cane’s opening of the month. Massachusetts will be first on the list for the next round of expansion, with a new restaurant slated to open in Fall River on August 5.
Raising Cane’s has been on an expansion roll recently, opening a total of 118 restaurants in 2024, 18 more than its original goal for the year.
