Scheana Shay’s latest comments are sparking a debate amongst The Valley fans.
During a recent episode of Bravo’s reality show, Michelle Saniei opened up about her experiences with estranged husband Jesse Lally. At one point, she questioned if her relationship with the father of her 5-year-old daughter Isabella is as difficult as Brittany Cartwright’s challenging dynamics with estranged husband Jax Taylor.
According to Scheana, 40, Michelle, 36, may have a point.
“The amount that I’ve seen her have to deal with, the messages I’ve seen, the emails I’ve seen,” Scheana alleged on the Friday, June 20, episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked. “I understand why [Michelle] said, you know, ‘I might have it worse than Britney.’ Obviously we’ve followed this couple for 10 years on the show. You know, everyone knows how bad Jax is.”

While radio host Kiki Monique acknowledged that viewers are invested in Jax, 45, and Brittany’s changing relationship dynamic, Scheana said that there’s more than one couple going through some hurdles.
“You don’t know how bad Jesse is because you’re just seeing him put on his, you know, charming face and whatever, but it’s like you just don’t know who he actually is at his core,” Scheana claimed. “I’ve seen it and yeah, I don’t like what I see.”
After seeing a clip from Scheana’s interview, The Valley star Kristen Doute came to Jesse’s defense in the comments section.
“It is INSANE for you to say Jesse is even comparable to Jax, @Scheana,” she wrote. “INSANE.”
In previous episodes of The Valley, Scheana has expressed loyalty to her longtime friend Michelle. During her latest radio interview, however, the Vanderpump Rules alum recalled an alleged situation between Michelle and her ex that particularly rubbed her the wrong way.
“Right after [Michelle’s mom] passed away, it was election day and Michelle just really needed one day to grieve,” Scheana claimed. “It was her day with Isabella and she asked Jesse, ‘Look, I know it’s my day, but like I just need a day to grieve by myself. Can you please take your daughter? You know, she just lost her grandma, but can you just take her today?’ And he had an election party to go to in Orange County and said, ‘No.’”
In response to Scheana’s interview, Jesse spoke out exclusively to Us Weekly and claimed Scheana’s comments are “completely false and easily disproven,” adding: “This isn’t about drama. It’s about the loss of our daughter’s grandmother. I have texts and emails proving we were never at any party and that I did everything I could.”

Jesse also previously denied claims made by Michelle on The Valley about his reaction to her mom’s declining health.
“Unfortunately, this is another instance of Michelle’s endless false narratives,” he told People on June 18. “All the facts about this came out at the reunion, and I look forward to the audience finally seeing the truth.”
