Justin Bieber is still “standing on business,” albeit in a comedic way.

The pop superstar, 31, took to Instagram on Monday, June 23, to join in on the viral trend of individuals splicing themselves into a clip from episode 12 of Love Island USA season 7, in which one of the show’s stars, Huda, tells her costar, Nic, she’s a single mom.

The clip has, like many of the internet’s trends, inexplicably taken hold of the TikTok zeitgeist at the moment, and Bieber decided it was a perfect opportunity to combine the clip with another recent viral moment: him stating that he is “standing on business.”

In Bieber’s mashup, the video, accompanied by an ominous soundtrack, begins with footage of him saying “I’m a dad, I’m a husband,” before cutting to the Love Island USA clip of Huda telling Nic, “I’m a mom. I’m a mommy.” In the clip, Nic responds and says “Mommy?”

The video cuts back to Bieber saying, “You’re not getting it, it’s not clocking to you,” before cutting once again to Huda saying “I’m a mom,” with Nic replying, “Mamacita?”

Once again, the video cuts from Love Island USA, this time, to an old news clip where Bieber is being interviewed and also says “What about, uhm, Mamacita?”

Then again, the video returns to Love Island USA where Huda says, “No, I’m a mommy,” to which Nic replies, “A mom of what?”

Footage then returns again to Bieber saying, “It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business, is it?” Before cutting a final time to another viral clip of Toronto influencer Plushh criticizing YouTuber K Showtime on the Seeking Success Podcast. She said, “And what I don’t like is if the business is true that you left your mom in the hood, somebody go smoke that yute.”

The video has already racked up over half a million likes, with fans flooding to the comments to laugh about the hilarious mashup of clips shared by the “Sorry” singer.

The aforementioned original clip of Bieber saying he’s “standing on business” went viral in its own right after getting shared online, with the whole incident — and footage — stemming from the singer criticizing a photographer whom he felt invaded his privacy after seeing him out and about near Soho House in Malibu.

The singer certainly saw how viral the clip went, as he took to his Instagram Stories on June 18 to share a snapshot of himself looking amused while the song “Stand on Business” by Myia B Music played in the background, an apparent nod to the clip.
