Yesterday morning in Manhattan, paparazzi snapped Brad Pitt wearing head-to-toe blue. It’s a simple outfit at first glance, but each detail speaks louder than the whole. He wears a blue button-down shirt from Argentinian brand Taverniti with a blouson-style, almost windbreaker effect, a pair of blue jeans that appears perfectly worn in, a brown belt, white sneakers, and gunmetal shades. Each seemingly uncomplicated element conveys careful thought behind it.
In the midst of press for F1, Pitt is continuing his streak of having fun with fashion—and this playful affinity was especially evident the past few days in New York. The outfits have only gotten wackier.
Pitt kicked off the weekend in two bright, contrasting colors—bright orange and deep burgundy in a pair of trousers and loose-weave knit polo, respectively. He also toted a large Gucci duffle bag in grey suede. Later that day, he stepped out again, this time with partner Ines de Ramon, in casual swingy separates for dinner with Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid. He channeled his own ‘90s aesthetic with a lilac silk shirt, what appear to be black velvet trousers, and square-toed boots.
The next day, he paid homage to F1 with oversized nylon cargo pants, one leg of which was repurposed from an Aston Martin racing suit from the film. He paired them with a paint-splattered green tee layered early-aughts style over a white long-sleeve. Paparazzi caught Pitt later that day filming a segment for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in Riverside Park. The actor wore head-to-toe baggy, tie-dyed separates, but, to be fair, this was an actual costume.
That same evening, Pitt leaned even further into the sphere of interesting menswear with a look from Willy Chavarria’s Fall 2025 collection. The ensemble features a relaxed-fit crushed velvet blazer, a striped shirt, and ultra wide leg jeans. He wore chunky black boots to complete the ensemble. This punctuated his current arc of kooky dressing unfolding in tandem with that of his eccentric 1999 Fight Club character, Tyler Durden.
His love of fashion isn’t exactly new, per se. The actor has exhibited a devotion to personal style since the 1990s, when his outfits snuck under the radar due to their subtly unique nature—and the corresponding lack of social media. Ever since the Bullet Train press tour press tour in 2022 when he tested out a linen skirt suit, Pitt has been upping the ante in the fashion department with for-the-heads menswear nods. (He founded his own fashion line, God’s True Cashmere, in 2019.) Today, he’s gone wild with it. This past weekend’s sartorial experimentation proves he’s part of a burgeoning movement of male celebrities unafraid to take a few risks with fashion—and to have fun while doing it.
