Zoe Saldaña is revealing her red carpet secrets.
In a Tuesday, June 17, Instagram post, the actress, 46, shared how she and her glam team get her into red carpet outfits after she’s already had her hair and makeup done. A carousel of photos and videos shows Saldaña wearing a sheer white net covering her head and half of her face so she can slip on a burnt-orange top with a high turtleneck without ruining her glam.
“And that’s how you GRWM 🤪,” the Oscar winner wrote in the caption, tagging her stylist, makeup artist and hairstylists.
“@petraflannery Carefully crafting a slay fit without getting in the way of the artwork done by @makeupbyvera7 and @mararoszak 🙂↔️,” she added.
Saldaña was heading out for the Los Angeles premiere of her latest children’s movie Elio. She teamed the structured top with an orange pencil skirt, black tights and pointed-toe pumps. Her hair was swept back into an effortless updo and she sported a red lip.

The star also brought her three sons, twins Bowie and Cy, 10, and her youngest, Zen, 8, to the Tuesday, June 10 premiere.
On the red carpet, the boys matched in navy blazers, white button-downs, dark blue jeans and sneakers. The family night out came after Saldaña shared that she gets “cool points” from them for doing children’s movies. While appearing on Good Morning America on June 4, Saldaña spoke in detail about working on the Disney film geared toward kids.
“Since becoming a parent, incorporating what I do — my art — into a genre that caters to children has always been a great interest to me,” Saldaña said. “And I get to relate to them, and I also get some mad cool points as a mom.”
She continued, “But my 8-year-old cannot wait for Elio to come out.”
The actress shares the three boys with husband Marco Perego.

When speaking with PEOPLE at the premiere, Saldaña was asked where she keeps her Oscar trophy. The actress won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar, her first-ever Academy Award, earlier this year for her role in Emilia Pérez.
“We have it in my office, and my Oscar is gender fluid,” she shared, adding that the statue is “trans” and “goes by they/them.”
