Rioters stormed a building used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Portland, Oregon, late Saturday night.

The riot took place after an anti-Trump “No Kings” demonstration in the city. At least four officers were injured in the attack, which included the rioters hurling fireworks, smoke grenades and rocks, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Violent rioters in Portland, OR stormed an ICE facility after launching fireworks at officers, hurling smoke grenades, and throwing rocks at federal law enforcement,” McLaughlin told the DCNF. “Our heroic law enforcement have been able to secure the facility. Four officers are injured.” (RELATED: Scott Jennings Chimes In From Abroad To Tell Dems He Told Them So About Left-Wing Violence)

President Donald Trump ordered the deployment of 700 Marines to back up the deployment of federalized National Guard troops in Los Angeles on Monday as the riots continued past the weekend. The anti-ICE unrest has since spread to other cities across the U.S., and police declared a riot near the Portland ICE facility Saturday evening, according to local outlet Fox 12 Oregon.

“Secretary Noem’s message to the rioters is clear: you will not stop us or slow us down. ICE and our federal law enforcement partners will continue to enforce the law,” McLaughlin said. “If you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Resistance to ICE operations to arrest illegal immigrants has also included a Milwaukee judge who allegedly helped an illegal immigrant briefly evade ICE agents sent to arrest him and Democratic Mayor Freddie O’Connell of Nashville reportedly releasing the names of federal agents involved in a crackdown on illegal immigrants present in the city.
