A top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official called out Kim Kardashian Wednesday after the reality television star called Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids “inhumane.”

Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin issued a scathing statement on X, challenging Kardashian’s perspective of the raids.

McLaughlin’s post featured the mugshots of convicted felons, and it was shared alongside the bold caption, “@KimKardashian, which one of these convicted child molesters, murderers, drug traffickers and rapists would you like to stay in the county?”

Among the criminals featured were Eswin Uriel Castro, an allegedly previously deported illegal immigrant with criminal convictions for child molestation and being armed with a dangerous weapon, according to captioned photos posted by McLaughlin.

Another photo included Gerardo Antonio-Palacios, an alleged illegal alien from Mexico who was previously convicted of homicide and burglary, according to the post.

An image of Antonio Benitez-Ugarte, another alleged illegal immigrant from Mexico, was also featured in McLaughlin’s post.

Benitez-Ugarte was convicted of drug trafficking, according to the caption.

A 53-year-old alleged illegal immigrant, Mab Khleb from Cambodia, also had his mugshot on display.

Khleb’s criminal history includes a conviction for possession and transport of a controlled substance, lewd action with a child, and battery, according to a caption on the photo shared by McLaughlin.

“These are just a few of the convicted illegal criminals who have been picked up in the last 72 hours,” she said.

McLaughlin’s online confrontation came shortly after Kardashian criticized the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts.

“When we’re told that ICE exists to keep our country safe and remove violent criminals — great,” Kardashian wrote, according to a screenshot of her Instagram story.

“But when we witness innocent, hardworking people being ripped from their families in inhumane ways, we have to speak up. We have to do what’s right,” she continued.

Kardashian went on to call immigrants “our neighbors, friends, classmates, coworkers, and family.”

“No matter where you fall politically, it’s clear that our communities thrive because of the contributions of immigrants,” she preached to her fans.

The reality star spoke out against Trump’s actions, saying, “We can’t turn a blind eye when fear and injustice keep people from living their lives freely and safely. There HAS to be a BETTER way.” (RELATED: Billie Eilish’s Brother Finneas Says He Was Tear-Gassed At ICE Protest)

President Donald Trump sent the National Guard and U.S. Marines to shield federal agents from protesters after protests ignited in Los Angeles, California.

Kardashian has not defended her position against McLaughlin’s comments as of publication.
