The British model, who rose to fame in the 1980s as the face—and body—of Calvin Klein, was photographed in Spain this summer while vacationing with her daughter, model Lila Moss.

But it’s Kate’s completely over-the-top “beach bag” that has everyone talking. In recent photos taken in Ibiza, Kate can be seen wearing a gauzy white top with simple bikini bottoms. She accessorized the outfit with a $13K brown Hermès Kelly bag, which she left unclasped and dangling in the sand.

Fans had a lot to say about Kate’s surprising beach accessory, with most praising the model for not treating the high-priced handbag like a precious museum piece.
