While the 9-1-1 fandom has been up in arms the last couple of weeks over the apparent death of a main character, there is one thing bringing them together: the agreement that Gavin McHugh was so “stinking cute” in a recent throwback photo shared by the young actor.
McHugh, now 14, took to Instagram recently with a sweet snapshot of a younger version of himself sitting on someone’s lap at his eye doctor’s office, trying on a model pair of frames as he got fitted for his very first pair of glasses.
He wore a red, white and black striped shurt with a pair of red shorts, and the glasses were black on the main part of the frame with red arms securing them to his ears.
“My first pair of glasses #throwback,” he captioned the photo.

Fans gushed over the “beyond adorable” snap of one the show’s youngest stars, calling him the “cutest kid 😍,” “Stinking. Cute!” and “Cutee patutee!”
Some appreciated the way the new frames matched his shirt, assuring him once again, “You look so cute! ❤️.”
They couldn’t believe how tiny he was in in the sweet throwback, with one commenting, “You’re so small there. OMG.”
“I forgot how little you used to be on the series,” another admitted. “So cute!”
“Baby Gavin. 🌻,” another dubbed him, with someone else begging, “Please stop growing up so quickly!!!”
