’80s Sitcom Star, 52, Opens Up About How Dating in Hollywood is ‘So Hard’ originally appeared on Parade.

Blonde beauty Josie Davis may have risen to stardom on the classic sitcom Charles in Charge, but the actress, 52, says dating in Hollywood is no easy task.

“I’m apparently intimidating,” Davis told Page Six, referring to what she’s been told by men, who have also noted that she’s “quirky.”

Though she was using Raya, the exclusive dating app, for a bit of time, Davis found she didn’t have much success there because men weren’t choosing her.

“I guess you have to be either super famous or a model,” she explained. “It’s so hard for me to meet people.”

In her post Charles in Charge life, Davis has tackled a lot of interesting roles on and off the TV screen. She starred on Beverly Hills, 90210 as a love interest of Brian Austin Green, and stars in an upcoming film alongside Blac Chyna called Pardon Me: The Bevelyn B. Williams Story. But some of her best work is done behind a microphone these days. She’s the host of a podcast, Success Road, which describes itself as “a funny and inspirational show where well-known actress Josie Davis interviews interesting people about where they came from and what they did to arrive where they are today.”

Of course, many of us will always love her as Sarah, the babysitting charge of Scott Baio on Charles in Charge, which ran from 1984 to 1990. Recently, Davis took to Facebook to share the exact amount of money she makes from Charles in Charge residuals, flipping through the pages that share each episode she appeared on, and how much money she makes when they air. As Parade previously reported, the total from her March 5 paycheck was a whopping $6.60.

“Oh my God, look at all my residuals!” Davis joked in the video. “The pages are even longer than I imagined. Boy, no wonder everyone thinks I’m so wealthy. I made a lot of money on Charles in Charge!”
