She may have started off her career as the lead singer of the Go-Gos, but Belinda Carlisle really left her mark on a generation when she ventured out on her own as a 1980s pop star. With hits like “Circle in the Sand,” “Heaven Is a Place on Earth,” and “We Got the Beat,” anyone who grew up in that era knew every lyric to her songs.
Now 66 years old, her music career is still going strong, and she thrilled fans with a new announcement she made on TikTok on June 13.
Carlisle recorded a cover of the 1973 hit, “All I Need Is the Air That I Breathe” by The Hollies, and she just released a new music video to go along with it.
