Women are breaking through the $100,000 salary barrier in more industries and job titles than ever before. According to the 2024 Women in the Workplace report from McKinsey and LeanIn.org, 29% of C-suite positions are held by women, compared with just 17% in 2015. This upward trend shows that more women are not just reaching, but thriving in, six-figure roles across a wide range of industries.

Enterprise Tech Sales Executive

Enterprise tech sales executives are breaking income barriers, typically earning base salaries from $120,000 to $180,000, excluding commissions. These roles require excellent communication skills, technical understanding and strategic relationship-building.

Salary.com reports that the average total cash compensation for enterprise software sales roles reaches $280,359, reflecting the high stakes of these positions.

With technology continuously evolving, businesses heavily reward sales experts who successfully navigate complex sales cycles with large corporate clients. Williams-Lindo said women with client-facing confidence and tech fluency can earn top dollar in this field without needing to code.

“These jobs pay well because they solve big problems — and women are proving they’re the right ones to lead,” she explained.

AI Ethics and Policy Advisor

AI ethics and policy advisors are increasingly crucial as companies navigate complex regulations around artificial intelligence. According to Interview Guy, salaries are typically between $100,000 and $200,000.

Basically, these advisors ensure AI systems are ethical, transparent and compliant with emerging global standards. Women in these positions bridge technology, regulatory understanding and organizational strategy.

High demand and limited expertise make this field particularly lucrative. Industries such as healthcare, education and government agencies are in urgent need of qualified professionals. These individuals can foster trust and accountability in AI usage, leading to a robust job market and significant compensation for those with expertise in ethics and policy.

Fractional CMO or Executive Coach

Fractional chief marketing officers (CMOs) and executive coaches earn over $125,000 annually, capitalizing on specialized experience and market demand for flexible leadership roles. Fractional CMOs provide part-time strategic marketing leadership to companies unable to justify a full-time executive, commanding premium hourly rates.

Executive coaches similarly leverage extensive leadership experience, guiding high-performing individuals and teams to greater productivity and success. Women increasingly pursue these roles, valuing the autonomy, flexibility and high earnings.

Their established reputations, network-driven opportunities and direct monetization of expertise make fractional CMO and executive coaching positions highly rewarding, financially lucrative choices.

People Analytics or HR Business Partner

Williams-Lindo explained that organizations are doubling down on data-driven workforce decisions, which has created a strong market for women who can blend HR expertise with analytics.  This trend is creating significant opportunities and attractive salaries for women leading these important workforce initiatives at senior levels within organizations.

These roles require a mix of people skills and technical know-how, allowing women to leverage both to secure high salaries. According to Glassdoor, senior HR business partners typically earn between $110,000 and $140,000 annually.

Women leaders proficient in analyzing workforce data provide actionable insights that significantly enhance recruitment, retention and organizational performance.

Agile Product Coach or Program Manager

Companies increasingly adopt agile approaches for faster, more adaptable project deliveries, significantly raising demand for experienced coaches. Agile product coaches and program managers report base salaries of $115,000 to $150,000.

Women thriving here combine strong organizational capabilities with advanced knowledge of agile frameworks and leadership skills.

Williams-Lindo said women with program management or scrum experience are pivoting into these roles and scaling fast. This role continues to be lucrative, providing strong salaries and career growth opportunities for women leaders.

DEI and Culture Transformation Consultant

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consultants focusing on genuine culture transformation are highly valued, earning salaries ranging from $100,000 to $160,000 annually. For example, At The Cee Suite Llc, DEI Consultants earn an average of $94,876, with top salaries reaching $106,800, per Salary.com research.

Williams-Lindo said the best-paid roles are rooted in systems change, not slogans, and women with cross-cultural leadership experience are in high demand. Companies are seeking real results in DEI and are willing to pay for professionals who can deliver measurable impact.

Women in these consulting roles excel by leveraging their insights into organizational behavior, policy formulation and strategic implementation.
