Six artists who have 13 Grammy nominations between them are coming together for one night only on May 30, so get out your jean jackets, slap bracelets and crimper and be ready to don your ’80s and ’90s best.
The artists include Wilson Phillips (made up of Chynna Phillips Baldwin and sisters Carnie and Wendy Wilson), Tiffany Darwish (known professionally as simply “Tiffany”), Taylor Dayne and Sheena Easton.
Phillips announced the concert on her Instagram, writing, “We have so many unbelievable opportunities to share our music with the world. Whether it’s a Christmas album or appearing on The Masked Singer, it never gets old, and we never take it for granted. It’s a wild & exciting ride. 🤍🤍🤍 Checkout our Concert details.”
The concert is taking place Friday, May 30, at 7 p.m. local time at The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California. Tickets are on sale now.
The website teases, “Descended from pop royalty, Chynna, Carnie, and Wendy are back at The Venue for another stellar Wilson Phillips show. Performing beloved hits like ‘Hold On,’ ‘You’re In Love,’ and ‘Go Your Own Way,’ this talented trio doesn’t miss a beat with their harmony-rich vocals. Musical legends Taylor Dayne (‘Tell It To My Heart’), Sheena Easton (‘Morning Train,’ ‘Strut’), and Tiffany (‘I Think We’re Alone Now’) further elevate an already spectacular evening. Now’s your chance to see all these amazing women in one place at The Venue!”
It should be a night full of chart-topping hits. Between the four acts, they have a jaw-dropping 20 Top 10 hits, and Ms. Dayne boasts the rare feat of having had seven consecutive Top 10 singles during her illustrious career.
The Wilson sisters were most recently seen on season 23 of American Idol. They sang “Hold On” during Carnie’s daughter Lola’s audition, much to the delight of the judges, especially Carrie Underwood. Lola made it to Hollywood Week but was cut before the Top 24.
