When you think of a top-tier culinary destination, Disney World’s probably not the first place that comes to mind. However, you’d be surprised by just how many fine dining options are offered in and around this magical theme park, though they do come at a price. There’s so much more than turkey legs and Mickey ice cream bars; you just need to know where to look.

But you don’t have to limit yourself to one area. You can find these elevated dining experiences across multiple parks within the Disney World complex, whether you choose to spend the day exploring Epcot or roaming around Magic Kingdom.

GEO-82

GEO-82 is the newest on the list, considering it hasn’t even opened yet. Set to debut on June 4, 2025, it’s a 21-plus bar, restaurant and lounge that boasts the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail in a kid-free environment without even leaving Epcot.

If you’re looking for a way to ditch the family for a couple of hours and enjoy some adult-only time and a high-end meal, look no further. The new restaurant also has a Fireworks Experience, which features a private table with a view of the nighttime fireworks. The experience costs $179 per person.

California Grill

Another great option if you’re looking to level-up is the California Grill. Situated at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and next to the Magic Kingdom, it’s a convenient way to enjoy great food without leaving the property, though at $89 per adult pretax and tip for a three-course meal, it’s on the higher end of dining.

Steve Griswold, owner of Pixie Vacations, a travel agency specializing in Disney vacations, is a fan of this restaurant for not only the food but also the views.

“Depending on when the nightly fireworks show, Happily Ever After, is at the Magic Kingdom, I would reserve a table about an hour before and enjoy a leisurely dinner,” Griswold said. “There are fantastic views of Cinderella’s castle and the fireworks from the restaurant, and there is also an outside terrace for fireworks viewing for restaurant guests.”

Epcot’s World Showcase

If you’re unsure what you’re in the mood for and want to explore different cuisines, Epcot’s World Showcase is a great option. On their own, the dishes might be reasonable, but it can get pricey as you taste your way around the globe. Still, it can be a great experience.

“Epcot’s World Showcase has 11 countries all with different dining options. From sushi or hibachi in Japan to Oktoberfest in Germany, you can enjoy all sorts of exotic cuisine,” Griswold said.

He highlighted Spice Road Table in the Morocco pavilion at Epcot, “where you can order tapas while enjoying the waterfront views,” he said. “You are looking at about $12 to $15 per tapa that you want to try.”

Narcoossee’s

Narcoossee’s, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, is worth the high-end prices, according to Allyson Koerner, writer and owner of Magic-Ally Main Treats, a site about vegetarian dining at Disney World.

“From the view, to the service, to the entire menu, you cannot go wrong here. You definitely get a worthy meal and every penny spent is worth it,” Koerner said.

Koerner said this as another great place to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks, and claimed that “dessert is a must here, especially the almond-crusted cheesecake.”

Although entrees are often around $50-plus, it could be worth it for those who want to unwind with a delicious meal and a view after trekking through the parks.

Takumi-Tei

Last but certainly not least, Koerner said she considers Takumi-Tei at Epcot “a top signature dining location in the park.”

“It’s an understatement to say the restaurant will satisfy those who love Japanese cuisine. While certainly on the pricier side, diners enjoy a multi-course omakase tasting menu featuring Japanese-inspired dishes curated by the chef,” she said.

Although on the higher end — Koerner explained that the options range from $150 to $250 depending on the courses — it’s about more than just the food. “Takumi-Tei isn’t just about the meal, but it’s also about the overall experience. The restaurant itself is stunning as it features five beautiful rooms, each inspired by a natural element, including water, wood, earth, stone or washi paper,” she said.
