1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton recently marked a major first after losing 500 pounds—and fans are “so proud” of her.
In the April 29 episode of the TLC series, Tammy, 38, was finally able to fit into a swimming inner tube during a trip to the lake with her sisters, Amy Slaton, Amanda Halterman and Misty Wentworth.

During the adventure at Pounds Hollow Lake, Tammy embraced getting into the water with her siblings, an activity she was unable to do when she weighed over 700 pounds at her heaviest. The reality star previously noted in the Season 7 premiere that she’d lost a staggering 500 pounds.
But that wasn’t even the most exciting part.

“Look at Tammy!” Amanda declared at the lake after Misty successfully put the inner tube over Tammy’s head and down to her waist. “She fit it all the way down.”
In a confessional, Tammy told producers, “I’ve always been too big to fit through the tube hole—the donut hole. So I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to fit over me. But it did. So I’m like, ‘Score!'”
She then triumphantly declared, “Since I can’t eat the donut, I guess I’ll wear it!”
On Instagram, fans reacted to the huge accomplishment, with one writing, “Love that Tammy is finally living life!!!! Go girl, you deserve it!!!”
Someone else shared, “Nice job Tammy! Uve come along way girl!! 🙌🏾🍩🍩🍩,” as another echoed, “I’m so proud of her for getting in the water and enjoying it ❤️.”
“Keep it up!!! Love your spunk❤️,” a different viewer exclaimed.
“So proud of tammy🥺💕😊,” yet another declared.
Meanwhile, someone else pointed out, “The fact that she can fit in that donut is amazing am so happy for her she came such a long way ❤️❤️.”
