If you buy an expensive luxury vehicle, you might be hesitant to bring it out for everyday use. But when you think about it, this actually makes it more expensive. The less frequently you drive a car, the more you’re paying for it per mile.

Based on this line of thinking, iSeeCars found the most expensive cars to drive by looking the odometer readings to determine average annual miles and new car prices for over 1 million three-year-old used cars sold from November 2024 to April 2025. While the average car costs $44,223 and is driven 12,307 miles per year, making the average cost per 1,000 miles $3,593, the cars on this ranking cost significantly more per 1,000 miles.

Here’s a look at the top 10 most expensive cars to drive.
